The third thing is a plot: the events that happen. Fourth thing that makes a good story is characters. The fifth thing is the scene: specific moments. And the last thing that makes a good story is the setting: the place or time.
What is a story? A story is something that drags you in. It makes you feel like you could be there. A story makes you feel like anything is possible and something you would want to read over and over.
